Goblet
This fine eighteenth-century glass wine goblet was probably made in Newcastle-upon-Tyne but engraved in the Netherlands. The bell-shaped bowl is wheel-engaved with a Dutch quayside scene with warehouses,a gabled house dated 1645 and a ship loading cargo area. Around the rim is engraved 'VIVAT NEGOSIAE (Long live traders).
