Official boat badge of HMS Bee
The boat badge of HMS 'Bee' 1915. Official pattern approved in 1924. The badge is diamond-shaped with a gold rope twist border representing a naval auxiliary. The design depicts a beehive and four bees gold, on a blue field. The badge is cast brass, painted and drilled at the corners. HMS 'Bee' was a river gunboat launched at Troon in 1915. Between the wars she served on the Yangtze River and was scrapped in 1939 in Shanghai.
