Rummer
Rummer with a bucket bowl and knopped stem. The bowl is engraved with a west view of the old Sunderland bridge with a steam vessel passing underneath, inscribed: 'Sunderland Bridge'. On the other side, the inscription: 'George Haig 1859' below, masonic symbols. Said to have been presented to the donor's great-grandfather on the occasion of his ship being the first to sail out of Sunderland under steam, this story may be inaccurate.
