Terrestrial miniature globe
Terrestrial miniature globe. Geographical details on the sphere include simple outlines of the continents and in many respects they are comparable to Klinger GLB0017, but more details are given on the present globe. In the south polar region there is a label 'Wilkes Ld'. On the bottom of the stand there is a badly damaged piece of paper with a printed text, presumably from a sale catalogue. For full details about the cartography and construction of this globe please refer to the related publication.
