Celestial table globe

Celestial table globe. It forms a pair with the terrestrial globe, Morden, Berry and Lea GLB0164. Astronomical details on the sphere include a magnitude table pasted to the right of Auriga. The Milky Way and the Magellanic Clouds are labelled. There are a novae in Cygnus and Cetus, which are also labelled. A total of 63 stars and three star groups are named. The 48 Ptolemaic constellations and four of the non-Ptolemaic constellations are drawn. Two of the southern constellations are drawn as well as those of Plancius, but not all of the southern constellations are visible due to damage.
