Extensive notes on discoveries are listed according to region, for example, around the North Pole, in North America, near the Hudson Bay and in South America. In Asia there are notes with a picture of the Great Wall of China, which is labelled. In the south polar region there is a rectangular cartouche which is plotted against the latitude. In addition there are two circular cartouches, one with data on the climates and the other representing a scheme of the zones.

An instruction on how to use the rhumb lines is contained within another a cartouche. A total of nine oceans are named. Decorations on the globe include many ships and a few monsters. Numerous fish are also depicted with their names. It is believed that this globe was published between 1613 and 1618.
