Terrestrial table globe

Terrestrial table globe. It forms a pair with the anonymous celestial globe, GLB0250. Geographical details on the sphere include local names for European towns. There are further labels and notes including those for the west coast of North America, South America and Japan. Below Java, there are two ghost islands and the hypothetical southern continent is labelled 'TERRA AVSTRALIS INCOGNITA'. There are ships and sea monsters in the oceans for decoration, and an elephant in Africa. A total of six oceans are named.
