Terrestrial globe gores
Terrestrial globe gores. Geographical details on the gores are the same as Woodward GLB0263. The location of the 'Antipodes of Greenwich' are marked. In the north polar region the names of Melville and Parry are recorded. In the south polar region there are labels for 'Enderbys L.d, I. of Peter Alexander' and 'Ballany I. 1839'. A total of five oceans are named.
