Skirt

Women's Royal Naval Service ratings uniform skirt, 1939-1953 pattern. Constructed from heavy weight, navy, twill woven woollen fabric (diagonal serge). Flared, made of six panels, does not have a waistband. 3-press-studs and a hook and eye fasten the left side opening of the skirt. There is a partial, cotton lining at the back of the skirt. Worn as officer's working dress with blouse ZBA0467 and beret ZBA0470.
