Crimea War Medal 1854
Crimea War Medal presented to Benjamin Bradshaw (1819-1908).
Obverse: Head of Queen Victoria with a diadem, hair tied in a knot (left). Legend: 'VICTORIA REGINA'. Below '1854'.
Reverse: Victory flying (right) crowning with a laurel wreath a Roman soldier standing (left) with shield and short sword. Inscription: 'CRIMEA'. The medal is suspended from a foliated bar and pale blue ribbon edged with yellow. Bars: 'SEBASTOPOL'. Inscription on edge: 'BENJAMIN BRADSHAW'.
