Mark IXA
The sextant has a black crackle-lacquered alloy casing with artificial materials, housing optical equipment, a clockwork averaging mechanism, electrical equipment, and a rubber eyecup. The instrument has three red shades. The cover of the averaging mechanism is missing and no box or parts are found. The sextant is in poor condition.
The instrument has a scale measuring from 0° to 80° by 1°, and a vernier measuring to 1 arcminute.
