First Class Library on the 'Lucania' (1893)

The First Class Library was designed and furnished by Wylie & Lochhead Ltd, Glasgow. This photograph shows the two large ottomans fitted around the columns supporting the roof; in the background is the curved bookcase which followed the crescent shape of the compartment.
