Model of the 'Columbia' (1902)

A full hull builders' model of the passenger liner 'Columbia' (1902), as displayed in the Naval, Shipping, and Fisheries Exhibition at Earl's Court, London, in 1905. A view of the port side of the ship from broadside.

A cloth has been fixed behind the showcase to block out the background; most of the area surrounding the showcase has been masked out on the negative. The decorative feature at the top of the image belongs to an exhibition stand for Scotts’ Shipbuilding & Engineering Co Ltd, Greenock.
