Bridge on the 'Highland Loch' (1911)

Deck view on the passenger/cargo liner 'Highland Loch' (1911) showing the wheelhouse and chart room, on the Boat Deck. A view looking across to the port side, with crew members standing at the wheel and telegraphs.

The officer at the docking telegraph is likely to be Captain Thomas Johnson Jones (1855-1938), master of the 'Highland Loch' between March 1911 and September 1914. The telegraphs were manufactured by Chadburn's (Ship) Telegraph Co Ltd, Liverpool.
