Bedford Lemere & Co daybooks state that this photograph was taken for the design company Aldam Heaton & Co in March 1912.
The First Class Restaurant Reception Room was a lounge area where passengers could meet prior to taking their seats in the Restaurant, it was decorated in the Louis XVI style.
