Badge and star: Order of St Michael the Brave, 3rd class?
Roumanian order awarded to Admiral of the Fleet, Earl David Beatty, G C B (1871-1936) in 1916. Badge: Ornamental neck cross enamelled blue and edged gold, suspended from a crown. Obverse: In the centre the double cypher of King Ferdinand surmounted by a crown in gold. Reverse: The date '1916' in gold. Suspended by a ring from a crimson ribbon with a yellow stripe at each edge. Worn on the breast like a medal.
