Artificial harbour erected on the beaches in three weeks
Framed drawing entitled "Artificial harbour erected on the beaches in three weeks". The origin of the title is not clear but the subject is presumably the Mulberry Harbour at Arromanches (Gold Beach) supporting the Normandy campaign after D-Day. The drawing is signed by the artist and dated.
