Carved mahogany marine stick barometer, with thermometer and gimbal mounting, signed I & A Walker, 34 South Castle Street, Liverpool. John and Alexander Walker ran a Navigation Warehouse in Liverpool and were at this address in 1837. They were probably the retailers rather than the makers of the barometer.
