Plate
A white glazed porcelain plate from the Russian Imperial yacht 'Standart' 1896. It has two gilt bands around the edge and has the Russian Imperial arms painted in colour on the rim. The crowned initial 'N' and the date '1910' referring to Nicholas II (1868-1918) are painted on the base. The plate was brought to Great Britain by Stanislaus Niewerowski, who commanded the imperial yacht from 1895-1914.
