Scale: Unknown. A waterline model of the passenger liner Mauretania (1938). The hull is painted black with a light brown boot topping and thin white line along the waterline. The upperworks and accommodation superstructure are painted a white with the decks left in a natural wood finish. The two forward decks are fitted with a large single mast rigged with a pair of cargo derricks and a pair of smaller cargo masts with derricks, all of which serve two grey covered cargo hatches. The central upper bridge and accommodation superstructure is fitted with nine pairs of lifeboats rigged in davits, either side of the two almost circular funnels which are painted red with thin black stripes and black tops, indicating the vessel is owned by the Cunard Line. Towards the stern, there is another large mast and two smaller cargo masts with derricks, either side of which are two pairs of lifeboats, double banked in davits. The number "5" is written on the underside of the hull.
