Passenger/cargo vessel

Scale: Unknown. A waterline model of a passenger/cargo vessel. The hull is painted black with a red boot topping along the waterline split by a thin white line while the upperworks, accommodation and decks are painted a creamy white. The foredeck is fitted with a single mast rigged with a pair of cargo derricks, and together with two smaller cargo derricks all of which serving three large grey covered cargo hatches. At the base of the mast on either side is a pair of double-banked lifeboats, rigged in davits mounted on a raised boat deck. The upper decks are fitted with five pairs of double-banked lifeboats rigged to davits running either side of a tall, oval-shaped funnel painted red with three thin black bands and a black top. At the stern, there is another mast rigged with four cargo derricks, all of which serve three small grey covered cargo hatches. On the raised quarter deck at the stern is a pair of lifeboats, double-banked and rigged in davits. The number "171" is written on the underside of the hull.
