Passenger/cargo vessel

Scale: Unknown. A waterline model of a passenger / cargo vessel. The hull is painted black with light brown boot topping along the waterline. The upperworks, accommodation superstructure and decks are painted a creamy white. The split-level forward deck is fitted with a large single mast with a pair of cargo cranes, all of which serve two grey covered cargo hatches. The central upper bridge and accommodation superstructure is fitted with five pairs of double-banked lifeboats rigged to davits either side of two slightly raking oval-shaped funnels, painted black with a large central red band. There are two pairs of large engine room ventilator cowlings painted black and located at the base of the funnels, and a large skylight towards the stern on the boat deck. At the stern, there is a single mast rigged with two pairs of derricks, a pair of smaller cargo cranes, all of which serve three grey covered cargo hatches. There is a raised poop deck fitted with a pair of double-banked lifeboats rigged in davits, either side of an accommodation block, fitted with bridgewings and a sternwalk. The number "142" is written on the underside of the hull.
