Passenger/cargo vessel

Scale: Unknown. A waterline model of a passenger/cargo vessel. The hull is painted black with brick red at the waterline, with white bulwarks and superstructure. The decks are painted off-white with mid-grey cargo hatch covers. The forecastle is fitted with anchor cable-handling gear and a stowage cradle for two forward-mounted derricks. The forward deck is fitted with a large single mast rigged with two pairs of derricks, which serve two hatches.

The forward elevation of the superstructure has a prominent curvature, having two open decks surmounted by an enclosed pilot house flanked by a pair of bridge wings. There are two promenade decks, the lower one is partly enclosed, the upper one open along the entire superstructure. The boat deck above accommodates eight pairs of lifeboats, painted white with light grey covers, rigged to davits on the port and starboard sides. Between the boats, is a pair of funnels, oval in section, painted black, each with a white horizontal stripe. Nested around the forward funnel are four ventilators, painted black. The aft cargo deck has two hatches with a raised deck between them on which is mounted a mainmast with three pairs of derricks rigged to it. Below it is a shelter deck.
