Passenger/cargo vessel

Scale: Unknown. A waterline model of a passenger/cargo vessel. The hull is painted black with brick red at the waterline, a fine red stripe at main deck level running the entire length of the vessel, anchors painted in white on port and starboard bows and stern, and white bulwarks. The decks are painted a uniform cream with mid-grey cargo hatch covers. The forecastle includes an anchor cable gear, and a single hatch served by a pair of derricks on the forward cargo deck. The forward cargo deck has three hatches in line with a foremast between hatches one and two and served by two further pairs of derricks. The main superstructure is located amidships and forward and aft of it are two hatches. There are two promenade decks, the lower of which runs the length of the superstructure. The forward elevation has two open decks and one enclosed, with a small pilot house at the top flanked by a pair of navigation light cabins. The boat deck has five pairs of lifeboats stowed on port and starboard sides, the rear most pair has semi collapsible boats stowed beneath them. There is a single funnel painted red with a black top. The aft cargo deck has four hatches in line served by three pairs of derricks. There is a small raised boat deck at the stern with a pair of lifeboats stowed on davits. On the base of the model is '96'.
