Passenger vessel; Liner

Scale: Unknown. A waterline model of a passenger liner. The hull is painted black with brick red at the waterline and white bulwarks. The foredeck includes a small crane at the bow, anchor cable gear, a wave deflector and two cargo hatches with a derrick foremast between them. The long low superstructure extends to the stern and has a convex forward elevation. A promenade deck extends from amidships to the stern and there is a shelter deck below about half the length of the promenade deck. The bridge house has an open lookout above and is flanked by bridge wings with navigation light cabins. There are a total of 16 ventilators, square in section and painted white with red openings. The boat deck has nine pairs of lifeboats rigged on davits. At the rear of the boat deck is a secondary bridge wing. On B deck, there are four funnels in line painted red with black tops. There are a further four lifeboats stowed in davits on this deck as well as four skylights and a mainmast. On base of model '17'.
