Passenger/cargo vessel

Scale: Unknown. A waterline model of a passenger/cargo vessel. The hull is painted black with red at the waterline and white upperparts. The decks are painted a uniform off-white and the cargo hatch covers are mid-grey. The long foredeck includes three small hatches, inline, served by a pair of derricks. Between the second and third hatches there is a raised boat deck with a pair of boats stowed on davits, port and starboard, and a tall derrick foremast between them.

The superstructure forms two parts, the forward section housing the bridge, pilot house, bridge wings and navigation light cabins. The main superstructure has a promenade deck and, above, a boat deck with four pairs of boats stowed on davits. Between these boats is a single funnel, painted black, with a broad horizontal white band. There are what appears to be skylights and four ventilators, in two rows, painted black with red openings. Between the bridge deck and the boat deck is a small hatch served by a pair of derricks. The aft part of the promenade deck has a hatch, a derrick mainmast and a pair of lifeboats stowed on davits. The shelter deck has a further hatch. The aft deck has a hatch and a raised boat deck with a pair of derricks and a pair of lifeboats stowed on davits. Above this aft boat deck is what appears to be a secondary bridge deck with bridge wings.

Number on base of model illegible.
