Passenger/cargo vessel

Scale: Unknown. A waterline model of a passenger / cargo vessel. The hull is painted black with light brown boot topping along the waterline and a thin white line at deck level. The upperworks, accommodation superstructure and decks are painted a creamy white. The split-level forward deck is fitted with a large single mast rigged with two pairs of derricks and a pair of cargo cranes, all of which serve three grey covered cargo hatches. Surrounding the base of the foremast is a raised boat deck complete with a pair of black-hulled lifeboats rigged in davits. The central upper bridge and accommodation superstructure is fitted with six pairs of lifeboats, double-banked and rigged to davits either side of a tall circular funnel, painted black with two white stripes. There are five pairs of engine room ventilator cowlings, painted black and a creamy white, situated at the base of the funnel and around a large skylight towards the stern on the boat deck. At the stern, there is a single mast rigged with two pairs of derricks serving two grey covered cargo hatches. At the same level, there is a pair of black-hulled lifeboats, double-banked and rigged in davits, situated on either side of a raised accommodation block. The number "111" is written on the underside of the hull.
