Passenger/cargo vessel

Scale: Unknown. A waterline model of a passenger/cargo vessel. The hull is painted black with light brown boot topping along the waterline. The upperworks, accommodation superstructure and decks are painted a creamy white. The forward deck is fitted with a pair of goal-post like frames fitted with five pairs of derricks serving four grey covered cargo hatches. The central upper bridge and accommodation superstructure is fitted with five pairs of double-banked lifeboats rigged to davits either side of a single oval-shaped funnel, painted black red with a white band and blue top. Just after the bridge is a pair of small cargo cranes serving a single grey covered cargo hatch. There are four pairs of large engine room ventilator cowlings painted light brown, two pairs surrounding the funnel and the other two surrounding a large skylight towards the stern on the boat deck. At the stern, there is a pair of goal-post like frames fitted with four pairs of derricks serving four grey covered cargo hatches. At the aft end of the stern is a raised poop deck fitted with a pair of double-banked lifeboats rigged in davits either side of a large ventilator cowling painted light brown. The number "79" is written on the underside of the hull.
