Passenger/cargo vessel

Scale: Unknown. A waterline model of a passenger/cargo vessel. The hull is painted black with brick red at the waterline and white bulwarks and superstructure. The decks are painted off-white with mid-grey cargo hatch covers. The forecastle has anchor cable-handling gear and a wave deflector. The forward cargo deck is fitted with a raised deck on which is placed a foremast rigged with two pairs of derricks, which serve three hatches, inline. Between the second and third hatches are a pair of tall ventilators each rigged with a pair of derricks.

The forward elevation of the main superstructure has three pairs of bridge wings, one above the other and, at the top, an enclosed pilot house, flanked by navigation light cabins. The open promenade deck runs the entire length of the main superstructure. Above it, the boat deck is fitted with five pairs of lifeboats rigged to davits, on port and starboard sides, either side of the two tall funnels painted crimson with blue tops, each with a white horizontal stripe. The rearmost pair of boats has stowed directly on the deck between them three identical boats. All the lifeboats on the vessel are painted white with light grey covers.

The aft end of the promenade deck has a mainmast rigged with two pairs of davits that serve two hatches, one on the deck itself, the other on the aft cargo deck. Either side of the mainmast are a pair of lifeboats, stowed on davits. The stern deck has a deckhouse with a curved aft elevation with a raised walkway extending from it to the stern of the vessel.

Number illegible on base of model.
