Passenger/cargo vessel

Scale: Unknown. Waterline model of a passenger vessel. The hull is painted black with brick red at the waterline, a narrow white stripe at main deck level running the entire length of the vessel and white upper parts. The decks are painted a uniform cream with mid-grey cargo hatches. The forecastle includes anchor winch gear and a pair of derricks. The forward cargo deck has three cargo hatches in line served by a pair of derricks positioned between the second and third hatches. Between these derricks there is a foremast. The superstructure is placed amidships and there are two promenade decks running its entire length. The forward elevation has open decks with companion ways linking them. The open bridge on the upper deck has a pair of bridge wings and an open pilot house above. There are four pairs of lifeboats stowed on davits on the boat deck painted black with white covers. Immediately aft of the first pair of boats is a pair of derricks. Between the boats is a single funnel, painted black with two broad horizontal white stripes, in British India company colours. There are two ventilators forward, and four aft of the funnel. The aft cargo deck has three hatches in line, served by three pairs of derricks. The middle pair of derricks has a mainmast placed between them. There is a raised poop deck at the stern. On base of model '`159'.
