Passenger/cargo vessel

Scale: Unknown. A waterline model of a passenger / cargo vessel. The hull is painted black with light brown boot topping along the waterline. There is a thin white line at deck level. The upperworks, accommodation superstructure and decks are painted a creamy white. The split-level forward deck is fitted with a large single mast rigged with two pairs of derricks which serve two grey covered cargo hatches. The central upper bridge and accommodation superstructure is fitted with three pairs of lifeboats rigged to davits either side of a single tall circular oval-shaped funnel, painted black with two thin white bands at the top. There are three pairs of large engine room ventilator cowlings painted black located at the base of the funnel and just forward of a large skylight. The bridge superstructure is separate from the accommodation between which is a single grey cargo hatch served by a pair of cargo cranes. At the stern, there is a single mast rigged with two pairs of derricks serving two grey covered cargo hatches. At the base of the mast is a raised boat deck fitted with a pair of lifeboats rigged in davits. There is a raised poop deck fitted with a pair of lifeboats rigged in davits, either side of an accommodation block which is fitted with a bridge wing which overhangs the stern. The number "59" is written on the underside of the hull.
