Passenger/cargo vessel

Scale: Unknown. A waterline model of a passenger / cargo vessel. The hull is painted white with light brown boot topping along the waterline and a thin blue line at deck level. The upperworks, accommodation superstructure and decks are painted a creamy white. The split-level forward deck is fitted with a large single mast rigged with two pairs of derricks, two pairs of cargo cranes serving two grey covered cargo hatches. The central upper bridge and accommodation superstructure is fitted with nine pairs of lifeboats rigged to davits either side of a single tall circular funnel, painted a buff yellow overall. There are three pairs of large engine room ventilator cowlings painted buff yellow located around the base of the funnel and just forward of the large skylight towards the stern of the boat deck. There is a raised bridge assembly fitted with a grey covered awning just forward of a wooden square pilot house. Some of the lifeboats both at the bridge and the stern end of the accommodation superstructure are rigged in davits at a lower level than the boat deck. At the stern, there is a single mast rigged with two pairs of derricks, a pair of smaller cargo cranes, all of which serve two grey covered cargo hatches. There is a raised poop deck fitted with a six lifeboats rigged in davits and mounted on skids just forward of a semi circular deckhouse. The number "126" is written on the underside of the hull.
