Passenger/cargo vessel
Scale: Unknown. A waterline model of a passenger/cargo vessel. The hull is painted lavender grey with brick red at the waterline and white bulwarks. The decks are painted an off-white with dark grey cargo hatch covers. The forecastle has anchor cable gear. The forward cargo deck is fitted with two hatches with a derrick foremast between them.
The wide open bridge has an enclosed pilot house in the middle and an open look-out atop. The single funnel is painted red with a black top in Union-Castle Line company colours. Clustered around the funnel are four ventilators and there are a further three aft of it. There are three small skylights on the upper decks. There are eight pairs of lifeboats rigged on davits on the boat deck, four pairs of which are double-banked. On the aft cargo deck there is a single mainmast rigged with derricks, which serve two grey covered cargo hatches. There is a raised boat deck at the foot of the mast , as well as a small poop deck over the counter with a deckhouse.
