Passenger/cargo vessel

Scale: Unknown. A waterline model of a passenger vessel. The hull is painted black with brick red at the waterline, a fine white stripe at main deck level running the entire length of the vessel, and brown upperparts. The decks are painted white with mid-grey cargo hatch covers. The forecastle has a small crane at the bow and three other items of equipment. The forward cargo deck has three hatches inline and, what appears to be four derricks either side of them. Positioned between the first and second hatches is a foremast.

The main superstructure is placed amidships The main deck has open promenades that continue around the stern. The deck above also has open promenades and the large aft part of this deck also has three hatches inline with what appears to be four derricks either side of them. Between the second and third hatches is a mainmast. Four lifeboats on davits are also stowed on davits. A deckhouse at the stern has a pair of secondary bridge wings. The front elevation of the superstructure comprises five open decks, painted brown with a bridge or pilot house atop, flanked by bridge wings with navigation light cabins at their extreme ends. The boat deck has a total of fourteen lifeboats stowed on davits on the port and starboard sides, some of which are double-banked. Positioned between the boats is a single funnel, painted black in P&O house colours. Clustered around the funnels are four ventilators, painted black and there are as further three ventilators aft of the group.
