Passenger/cargo vessel

Scale: Unknown. A waterline model of a passenger/cargo vessel. The hull is painted black with white upper parts. The decks are painted a uniform off-white with mid-grey cargo hatches. The long foredeck has four cargo hatches in-line served by a pair of derricks positioned between the first two hatches, and a foremast with derricks rigged to it positioned on a raised boat deck between the second and third hatches. This boat deck also has two boats stowed.

The superstructure is placed amidships and has a promenade deck. The open bridge house has an enclosed pilot house above, clad in wood. The boat deck contains six pairs of lifeboats stowed on davits, on port and starboard sides, all painted brown with light grey covers. Between the lifeboats there are two funnels painted ochre. Clustered around each funnel are four ventilators, also painted ochre and there are a further two fore and aft of the rearmost funnel. There are also two skylights on the boat deck. The aft cargo deck has two hatches also served by a derrick-rigged mainmast, positioned on a raised boat deck between them, and a pair of derricks positioned on the stern boat deck. These decks each have a pair of lifebaots stowed on davits.
