Passenger vessel

Scale: Unknown. A waterline model of a passenger vessel. The hull painted black with brick red at the bow and stern waterline, and a fine white stripe running the entire length of the vessel. The decks are painted off-white with mid-grey cargo hatch covers, apart from the bridge deck roof and the deck incorporating the third funnel, which are mid-grey. The long foredeck includes a wave deflector, foremast with a navigation lantern rigged to it, and three pairs of cranes serving three hatches.

The main superstructure is positioned amidships and features two open promenade decks, one above the other, the lower of which runs the entire length of the superstructure. A short forward section of deck has a pair of lifeboats stowed on davits and a grey-painted deckhouse between them. Aft of this section is the open bridge deck with integrated rectangular bridge wings and an open look-out above. The boat deck has six pairs of lifeboats, on port and starboard sides, painted brown with light grey covers, and stowed on davits. Forward of the lifeboats are a pair of cranes. Positioned between the lifeboats are three funnels, painted black in P&O company colours. Clustered around each funnel are four ventilators, painted black (three ventilators detached from around the rearmost funnel).

There is a short length of main deck visible between the aft elevation of the main superstructure and the forward elevation of the aft superstructure. There are a pair of cranes on the port and starboard sides of the main deck. The aft superstructure also has two open promenade decks, one above the other, and they follow the curve of the stern. Atop them is a stern boat deck with two pairs of boats stowed on davits and a mainmast set between them. There is a large crane positioned toward the aft end of the deck and, aft of it, a raised deck, semi-circular in shape, devoid of fittings.
