Passenger/cargo vessel

Scale: Unknown. A waterline model of a passenger / cargo vessel. The hull is painted black with green boot topping just visible at the waterline, bow and stern. The upperworks, accommodation superstructure and decks are painted a creamy white. The split-level forward deck is fitted with a large single rigged mast and four cargo derricks and a pair of smaller cargo cranes, all serving three grey covered cargo hatches. The central upper bridge and accommodation superstructure is fitted with eight pairs of lifeboats rigged to davits, some of which are double banked, either side of a pair of tall oval shaped funnels, painted yellow. There are also five pairs of engine room ventilator cowlings, painted yellow. At the stern, there is a single rigged mast with four derricks which serve a single grey covered cargo hatch. Right aft, there is a raised poop deck with two pairs of lifeboats rigged in davits and double banked. The number "56" is written on the underside of the hull.
