Passenger/cargo vessel

Scale: Unknown. A waterline model of a passenger / cargo vessel. The hull is painted black with light brown boot topping along the waterline. The upperworks, accommodation superstructure and decks are painted a creamy white. The split-level forward deck is fitted with a large single mast rigged with two pairs of derricks and a pair of cargo cranes, all of which serve two grey covered cargo hatches. The central upper bridge and accommodation superstructure is fitted with five pairs of lifeboats some double-banked, rigged to davits. There are two oval-shaped funnels, painted a buff yellow with red, white and black stripes at the top, around the base of which are a pair of large engine room ventilator cowlings painted a buff yellow. At the stern, there is a single mast rigged with a pair of derricks and a pair of smaller cargo cranes, all of which serve two grey covered cargo hatches. Either side of the raised deck at the base of the mast, are double-banked lifeboats rigged in davits. The number "39" is written on the underside of the hull.
