Passenger/cargo vessel

Scale: Unknown. A waterline model of a passenger/cargo vessel. The hull is painted black with brick red at the waterline, and white bulwarks and superstructure. The decks are painted a uniform off-white with mid-grey cargo hatch covers. The foredeck is equipped with a wave deflector, two hatches, a pair of derricks and a raised deck placed between the hatches. A deck forward of the superstructure, effectively the forward section of the main promenade deck, has a single hatch served by a pair of large derricks.

The main superstructure is positioned amidships and has two promenade decks, the lower on extending its entire length. The upper promenade deck has what appears to be a large public room at the forward end with large windows on three sides of the deck. An enclosed pilot house is flanked by a pair of bridge wings and surmounted by a radio mast. The boat deck has seven pairs of lifeboats, on the port and starboard sides, painted white with grey tops, all stowed on davits with collapsible boats stowed beneath them. There is a second radio mast to the rear of the boat deck. Between the boats, in the middle of A deck, is a single funnel, lozenge-shaped in section, painted red with white horizontal band and a black top. Along the centre line of the deck are three skylights of varying sizes.

The aft deck has two hatches served by a pair of derricks positioned between them. Aft of the hatches is a deckhouse clad in wood and a further two derricks. There are two pairs of lifeboats at the stern, double-banked and stowed on davits. Below the aft deck is a shelter deck and below it, a second open stern deck.

On base of model: "165".
