Passenger/cargo vessel

Scale: Unknown. A waterline model of a passenger / cargo vessel. The hull is painted black with red boot topping along the waterline. The upperworks and accommodation superstructure are painted a creamy white and the decks finished a natural wood. The split-level forward deck is fitted with a large single mast rigged with two pairs of derricks, two pairs of cargo cranes, all of which serve four grey covered cargo hatches. The central upper bridge and accommodation superstructure is fitted with five pairs of double-banked lifeboats, with brown hulls, rigged to davits either side of two slightly raking oval-shaped funnels, painted buff yellow and red, white and black stripe at the top. There are five pairs of large engine room ventilator cowlings painted white and located around the base of the aft funnel and towards the stern of the boat deck. At the stern, there is a single mast rigged with two pairs of derricks, two pairs of smaller cargo cranes, serving three grey covered cargo hatches. There is also a square deck house just between the last two cargo hatches, and a pair of life boats rigged in davits either side. The number "16" is written on the underside of the hull.
