Director Aimer's Monocular Sight Mark 2 TYPE C.D.61
This monocular is part of a gun sighting system from a naval vessel. The lens and prism system is adjusted using the knobs on the side (of which one is missing). The eyepiece has crosshairs forming a grid to anable accurate sighting. The manufacturer's name, Barr & Stroud Limited, is printed on a label on the side.
