Order of the Bath
Star of the Order of the Bath embroidered in silver lace on red velvet. It belonged to Vice Admiral Horatio Nelson. The star has three gold sequin crowns in the centre surrounded by the Bath motto: 'TRIA JUNCTA IN UNO'. This is one of a number of such embroidered stars that Nelson wore sown onto his uniform coats.
Nelson was made a Knight of the Order of the Bath in 1797 for his part in the victory off Cape St Vincent.
