Badge and star: Order of the Nile
Awarded to Sir George Morice. Badge: Five pointed white enamel star superimposed on a faceted silver plaque. Centre medallion gold, with Arabic inscription in blue "WHAT BENEFITS EGYPT OWES TO THE NILE, HER SOURCE OF PROSPERITY AND HAPPINESS". Suspended from small gold crown and ribbon of blue watered silk with yellow edges. Star: White star and centre medallion of obverse of badge, superimposed on ten pointed star with alternate rays of gold and silver. Crown between top two rays of star.
