Scale: 1:1200. A model of a section of quay-side made from die-case metal. There are two black swivelling cranes mounted on tapering square metal plinths. The quay-side section and plinths are painted cream. The crane arms are fixed at an angle of approximately 45 degrees. There are two neatly stacked piles of containers and/or crates, painted green, on the quay in front of the cranes. There are four holes underneath the quay-side to secure it to the quay straight sections. Inscription underneath reads: 'M.837 Crane unit'.
