HMS Superb (1943); Warship; Cruiser
Scale: 1:1200. A waterline model of HMS Superb (1943), a cruiser made from die-cast metal with a black plastic recovery derrick forward of the funnels. The hull and upperworks are painted blue-grey and the funnel tops, director equipment and anchor chains black gloss. There are two triple turrets forward and one aft, all of which are moveable and riveted through the deck. The underside is inscribed: 'H.M.S. Superb M.762'. The model is stored in its original box.
