Prize medal won by George Knott at a model making competition at Bideford. Obverse: A representation of a ship and a bridge based on the town seal. Legend: 'SIGILLVM - COMMVNE - DE BEDIFORD - 1577.' Reverse: Within a wreath of palm and olive branches the inscription: 'BIDEFORD FINE ART AND INDUSTRIAL EXHIBITION G. Knott 1877.' Edge: 'for Model of Eddystone Lighthouse.'
