Badge and star: Royal Order of George I, 1st class (military)
Awarded to Adm-Fleet Lord Cunningham of Hyndhope. Badge: A white enamelled gold Greek cross rests on an oval wreath of laurel also in gold. Between the cross and the wreath, two swords in saltire, points upwards, show between the limbs of the cross. In the centre, a red enamel crcle bears the Royal cypher of George I (in Greek). Round this, an outer circle enamelled white bears an inscription in Greek in gold letters. On the reverse side the three dates "1863" "1915" and "1913". The badge is surmounted by a Royal Crown. Star: Silver, with eight points, each point being of seven rays. It bears a three-quarter size repica of the badge. Crimson ribbon [missing].
