Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Decoration 1947-52
Awarded to Lt Cdr John Dickson, RNR. A badge. Within a cable tied in a knot below (silver) the royal cipher "G.VI.R.". in the form of a monogram a royal crown above, (all silver gilt). Reverse, inscribed "1950". Bar: "E.II.R." Fitted with a loop and ring. Fitted with a blue ribbon with a central green stripe edged with scarlet. Mounted on a bar with four others.
