Awarded to Adm-Fleet Lord Cunningham of Hyndhope. Obverse: Pierced bronze circle, enamelled blue, bearing the arms of the United States within its borders and the words "FOR DISTINGUISHED SERVICE MCMXVIII". Reverse: A military trophy with superimposed plaque. Suspended from a white ribbon with red edges and a thin blue stripe between the white and red. Mounted on a bar with twenty others.
