Badge and star: Order of St George, 2nd class
Awarded to Adm Sir Robert Stopford. Badge: Cross pattee, the arms enamelled white. Obverse: Medallion in the centre showing St George slaying the dragon. Reverse: The initials of the saint. Neck ribbon of orange watered silk with three black stripes. Star; Diamond shaped rayed plaque of gold bearing the cypher of St. George in gold and a gold ground, surrounded by a black enamel band with the motto (in Russian) "FOR SERVICE AND BRAVERY" in gold. Worn on the left side of the coat. Sequin star: Identical with rays of sequins, also cypher. In fitted original box.
